The current ANSI/APSP/ICC-7 Entrapment Avoidance Standard defines the maximum flow rate to address entrapment methods, most commonly hair entrapment. Correctly understanding how the standard defines the maximum flow rate, calculating TDH and measuring the system TDH at the pump’s drain is vital to a properly designed and safe water vessel. In this course, Ken Gregory will examine the Standard, break down the explanations and provide you the vital calculation tools to properly calculate the TDH and flow rate for your project.
