Speaker Bios:

Michael started his pool industry career cleaning pools for a local Northern Kentucky pool company in 2009. After graduating from the University of Kentucky in 2011, Michael moved to Philadelphia to start working for his father, Tim Moreton, as an independent manufacturer’s representative at Atlantic Sales Connection, Inc., which covers the Northeast territory of the United States. 

Michael then moved to Central Florida in 2018 to be close to his company’s corporate office and to get involved in his father’s Florida based independent manufacturer’s representative firm, Byrd Moreton & Associates. 

In 2022, Michael and Tim created Byrd Moreton & Associates-Southwest, expanding their company to the Southwest territory of the United States covering Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas. 

Currently, Michael is the President of Atlantic Sales Connection, Inc and Byrd Moreton & Associates-Southwest as well as Vice Presidents of Byrd Moreton & Associates - Florida. 

Michael has served on the PHTA Manufacturers Agents Council since 2016 and served as the Chairman for the council in 2019.

 

Allen joined Atlantic Sales Connection, Inc. in 2023 but began his career in Florida in 2012. Allen has been at the forefront of the pool and spa industry over the last 13 years. Spanning his career across Florida, California, and New York states, Allen has spent much of that time championing the increased use of technology in the industry, advocating for energy efficient equipment and increased use of automation, specializing in high end residential work and equipment layout/design. 

Allen currently sits as the Chairperson of the PHTA’s WAVE Young Professionals group, which aims to foster career growth and industry involvement for the under 40 segment, and created a successful scholarship program for education and advancement. 

Allen was also named 2021’s Young Professional of the Year from the PHTA, and was recognized in PoolPro Magazine’s “30 Under 40” issue that same year.
